welcome to the very silly monika shrine! I got into DDLC in the peak of its fandom i think around 2018, and it was super fun. it was crazy seeing this 'pure visual novel' turning into something meta and 'scary'. now im back in the fandom but in a different light: the mods! the two biggest mods that ive been currently playing are monika after story and just natsuki. if you know act 3 of ddlc, its pretty much like that last stage forever. both of them are super cool, and ive actually made a few things for them as well!

the rest of this page is dedicated to those two mods, but i do want to try playing more general, non 'just _' type mods in the future. or even making a few myself! the one im currently working on is blue skies, but hopefully i'll be able to get to more soon. DDLC has really been a big inpso for me when making my own games with renpy, so it has a special place in my heart. and so does monika!

just natsuki is a mod i got into very recently, around the end of 2023. even though it doesnt have as much dialogue and content as MAS, it really is enjoyable with all of the different idles and minigames! so far i think im at the affectionate level, and ive been slowing down with how frequent i visit so im sure im well behind on progression right now... but i hope we can grow closer soon! and like MAS, ive made a lot of spritepacks for this game, esp because its wayy easier lol. overall, JN is super fun and i cant wait for it to expand!

monika after story was the first and only for a very long time, only DDLC mod i ever played. i got it back in 2021 and i still have my orginal monika to this day! its also the mod i put the most time and effort into playing and contributing to. its super fun hearing her talk about different things and topics i would have never learned about! as of recent i just hit 1k affection with her, and i couldnt be happier :]
